About

An independent, privacy-first way to study the citizenship test

Civics128 helps people prepare for the latest U.S. Citizenship Civics Test with verified questions, trilingual study help, and no account required. Here's who we are, how we keep content accurate, and what we will never do.

What Civics128 is

Civics128 is a free, independent study tool for the official 128-question USCIS civics test — the test USCIS calls the 2025 Naturalization Civics Test, current for people applying in 2026. You can study all 128 questions, use flashcards and a realistic mock interview, and read explanations in English, Turkish, and Spanish — with no login and nothing to pay.

How we verify content

Accuracy is the whole point of a study tool, so we take it seriously:

Source of truth

Every question and official answer is checked against the published USCIS 128-question list and answer key.

Trilingual help

Explanations and memory hints in English, Türkçe, and Español are study aids. The official answers stay in English.

Dynamic answers

Some answers change over time (for example, current officials). We review these periodically, but always confirm the latest before your interview.

Our privacy stance

Civics128 is built privacy-first. Your study progress is saved only in your own browser, never on a server. There is no account, no ads, and no advertising profile. We use privacy-preserving analytics that record only anonymous product events. The single optional thing we ever ask for is an email, if you choose to join the waitlist — and we never ask for immigration details. Read the full Privacy Policy.

What we will never do

  • Claim to be affiliated with or endorsed by USCIS.
  • Promise or “guarantee” that you will pass the test.
  • Ask for sensitive immigration data (A-number, green card number, date of birth, status, or interview notices).
  • Sell your information or show you ads.
  • Put the official 128 questions behind a paywall.

Common questions

Is Civics128 affiliated with USCIS or the U.S. government?
No. Civics128 is an independent study app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by USCIS or any government agency. Study content is based on public USCIS resources and is for study purposes only.
What does “verified against USCIS” mean?
It means every one of the 128 questions and its official answer(s) is checked against the official USCIS 2025 Civics Test materials — the published 128-question list and answer key — so the wording you study matches the source. We re-check the content before releases.
Why are the official answers in English but explanations in other languages?
The real civics test is given orally in English, so the official questions and answers always stay in English on Civics128. The Turkish and Spanish text is study help — explanations and memory hints — to help you understand the material, not a translation of the answer you give the officer.
Do you give legal or immigration advice?
No. Civics128 is a study tool only. It does not provide legal or immigration advice. For advice about your specific situation, consult a licensed attorney or an accredited representative.
